It All Adds Up: Small Changes that Equal Big Impact
We often focus on the “what” of teaching: which materials to offer, which curriculum to buy, and how to set up the classroom. Those are important factors, but research shows that outcomes are actually more influenced by what teachers do - their behaviors and practices. We’ll reflect on 10 teacher behaviors that result in rewarding, culturally-sustaining connections and learning.

Designing for Wonder: Creating Inspiring Children’s Spaces
The spaces where children spend their days are an opportunity to inspire wonder, discovery, and excitement for learning. We’ll evaluate our current spaces for effective principles of design and create a plan for enhancing our environments. As Anita Rui Olds said, “We can choose to design spaces for miracles, not minimums.”
